My Topic:
Should we think Internet's contribution to globalization positively?

What I hope to learn from this source: 
I hope I could learn the refutation of my thesis. Also, I hope I could get re-refutation of my thesis. If I could get those information, I would like to do compare those ideas and support my thesis by them.

<Opposed ideas of my thesis>

1) Pascal Salin – He said that globalization brought worldwide connection between people and development of internet and telecommunication techniques. As a result, he insisted that globalization are benefits to people because it brought more advanced standard of living by internet and technologies.

 

2) Ron Manners – He claimed that we are in favor of planning globalization for the future. According to his theory, most people think globalization is beneficial for people, and we should respect the notions of majorities about globalization.

 

< Ideas for refutation >

1) James M. Buchanan – He metioned about wrong information about improvement in communication. People communicate to gain and not to lose, but globalization can be malevolent to some people and the connections are only applied to high-class people who have money and power.

 

2) Catherine Eschle – She explained the anti-globalization phenomenon. Anti-globalization has emerged for the negative effects of globalization. This movement showed that not all people are in favor of globalization and some people are in aware of globalization and the Internet.

 

 

 

 

Final Thoughts: 

 

After the research, I feel like the world and the generations that live in these days are in the transition period. Some people can understand why the globalization can’t solve the problem but sill others only see the one aspect of globalization. I should mention about the common thoughts of people and correct their opinions.
